Issue Position

Victoria's top priority is turning our economy around and creating good-paying jobs.

Middle-class families in Arizona got clobbered in the recession and a lot of them are still having a hard time making ends meet. Wages are stagnant and many parents can't afford to send their children to our state universities. The U.S. is the wealthiest country on the planet but a handful of the richest families and corporations are amassing wealth at an alarming rate while the rest of us get shut out. That's not fair and it has to change.

In Congress Victoria will steadfastly support hard working families and small businesses which drive our economy. We can jumpstart our economy and create good paying jobs by making smart investments in infrastructure, education and job training. With all the sunshine we have in Arizona, we should be the global leader in solar energy.

Our economy flourishes when we have good roads, strong bridges and access to high-speed Internet. Investing in infrastructure creates those good-paying jobs and allows small businesses to thrive while putting Arizona firmly on a path to economic strength and stability.
